How can you obtain a Hygiene Passport?
You obtain a hygiene passport by passing the hygiene passport test. The purpose of the test is to demonstrate that participants have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of food hygiene. Therefore, it is not advisable to take the test merely to see if you might pass.

Hygiene Passport test – what is it like?
The hygiene passport test consists of a total of 40 questions, and at least 34 correct answers are required to pass. The questions are presented as statements; for each statement, you must indicate whether you consider it true or false. Each test is unique, as the statements are randomly selected from the Finnish Food Authority’s question bank for every individual test. The test must be taken in person at a designated testing venue under the supervision of a hygiene passport examiner; taking the test electronically is not possible.
